Make it stand out.

First of all, I want to thank everyone for being here today. I also want to remember our beloved family members who are unfortunately no longer with us, but their presence is felt more than ever. However, I don't want this to overshadow the joy that should prevail today, as we celebrate Ana Karen and Andrew achieving their dream on their wedding day.

Dear Karen, if there’s anything I am grateful to life and God, is because I have the fortune of having you as my daughter. When they said  “It’s a girl”, I couldn't believe it because we had only had three boys. Since the first day I held you in my arms, I cherished the moments of our short childhood filled with games and emotions. It was one of the best times of my life, both with you and your brothers.

I may not have always been the best father in the world. Over the years, the distance between us may have grown. But the love between a father and daughter has always been there, and I have always felt my daughter's love too.

One day, you came into our lives Andrew, just like good things often do, without us realizing that you had arrived to stay. You brought a breath of fresh air to Ana Karen's life, a burst of joy. You were willing to risk everything for a future together and always looked ahead as you both grew. The strong foundation of everything you were creating together, "your world." That's why Lulu, my children, and I consider ourselves part of your family. I also want to thank you for welcoming Ava into your heart with so much love. I know you love her as much as you love Ana Karen. I also want to let you know that the same way you are part of our family, Katy and Cárter are part of our as well.

Before ending, I want to give you some advice for when things don't go well. The key word is to fight. You have to fight because if you fight, you might lose, but if you don't fight, you're already lost. And I leave you with a thought that goes like this: Don't hide your laughter behind makeup. Don't let love be sold to you with style. Don't let the calendar rush you. Always let your children see you happy. Don't let your heart go out of fashion. Let autumns touch your skin. May every night be like an hour. May every night be like a wedding night. And may every moon be a honeymoon.
